KGO's afternoon news team is dedicated to bringing the Bay Area the most comprehensive news, weather, business, traffic and sports coverage during the hectic afternoon drive home.

 Rosie Allen and Bret Burkhart are veterans of the Bay Area news scene and have garnered numerous honors for their work. Rosie and Bret co-anchor the afternoon news in our San Francisco studios; Bret also reports from our East Bay Bureau.  He continues to produce the award-winning news specials that have helped set KGO Radio News above the rest of Bay Area radio.

Traffic anchor Stan Burford leads the KGO airborne reporting team, featuring the bright red Jetcopter 810, to help commuters navigate their way home.
