KGO Radio airs Public Service Announcements for non-profit, community organizations. These 10-second announcements are called “Community Reminders,” and are read live by KGO Radio on-air personalities.

We are currently accepting 10-second, written announcements (3 - 4 lines, 30 words) with your message. Please provide all pertinent information, including who, what, where, and when. Always include a phone number for listeners to get more information. Announcements should be submitted 2 - 4 weeks in advance of their start date.

Please do include the name, address and phone number of the non-profit organization and the name of a contact person so we can get more information if necessary.

Please do include suggested air dates to indicate when the announcement should run.

Please limit follow-up calls. We have a staff of one person to handle PSA’s. If you must call, please understand we cannot air every PSA we receive.

We are unable to acknowledge receipt of every Public Service Announcement. If your Public Service Announcement is read on the air we will notify you.

Please don't fax your PSA – If you’re in that much of a rush, it’s probably too late for our deadline (2 - 4 weeks in advance). We receive hundreds of PSA’s each week and we Please don't like to tie up the fax machine.

Please don't send pre-recorded announcements, press releases or newsletters. We also cannot use minutes from meetings, photos, annual reports, or staff announcements.

Please don't send information about for-profit events, class reunions, political functions, rallies, or demonstrations (the latter three should be sent to the newsroom).

Please don't send more than one mailing to a given event; please check your mailing list and delete multiple listings for KGO Radio.
