E. Coli Discovery Closes Park
REDWOOD CITY (KGO) -- The discovery of E. coli bacteria has prompted the closure of a Redwood City park for the first time.
A routine test at Stafford Park turned up the gastrointestinal bug

Forty cubic yards of contaminated sand are being removed. The San Mateo County Health Department will test the soil beneath the play area, and if no E. coli bacteria are found in the soil, the park will reopen.
