Veteran Kicker In For Audition
With the departure of Todd Peterson to the Atlanta Falcons and without a kicker on the roster with NFL experience, the 49ers have invited veteran Joe Nedney in for an audition at team headquarters in Santa Clara.

Jackson Agrees To Two-Year Deal
The 49ers culminated a busy stretch of free agent activity with the announcement that Terry Jackson agreed to a two-year contract. Jackson’s news comes on the heels of the 49ers signing offensive tackle Jonas Jennings from the Buffalo Bills and the retention of defensive tackle Chris Cooper.

Two days after signing Jonas Jennings from the Buffalo Bills, the 49ers stayed in house and retained one of their own as defensive end Chris Cooper was signed to a two-year contract.

Kicks for C.A.N - Cure Autism Now, Peninsula Infiniti, and Frontier Infiniti

Peninsula Infiniti and Frontier Infiniti donated $300.00 for every made 49ers field goal.  Todd Peterson was an astounding 18/22, raising $5400.00 for C.A.N, Cure Autism Now!

Cure Autism Now (CAN) is an organization of parents, clinicians and leading scientists committed to accelerating the pace of biomedical research in autism through raising money for research projects, education and outreach.  C.A.N. has committed over $20 million in research, the establishment and ongoing support of the Autism Genetic Resource Exchange (AGRE) and numerous outreach and awareness activities aimed at families, physicians, government officials and the general public.
